Q. I have moved and do not receive the UA Journal at my new address, how can I fix this?
A. E-Mail your Name, Card Number, Old Address and New Address to mikeb@uanet.org. Make sure your Local Union office has been notified of your address change for all other UA related business.

Q. Does the UA offer college scholarships?
A. Yes and it begins the spring semester of the 2006-2007 academic year. For more information, click here, and login to the UA Member's Only area.

Q. When I work in another Local Union's jurisdiction on travel card will all of my benefits be paid into my home Local Union funds?
A. The United Association has a money follows the man reciprocal agreement with participating local unions. For a detailed description of this agreement and the participating local unions click here.

Q. How can I transfer my membership from one Local Union to another Local Union?
A. Membership transfers are best handled Local Union to Local Union. Contact your Business Manager about transfer requirements. Transfer of membership is covered by the UA Constitution section 219. Membership transfers by apprentices are rare and must also include the involvement of the local JATC.

Q. How can I get information about the National Pension Fund?

Q. How can I get information on apprenticeships?
A. Local Joint Apprentice Training Committees (JATC) administers apprenticeship programs. Check with the Local Union in your area for information about apprentice requirements and opportunities.
